Gold for Bowness Bay Brewing beers

A Cumbrian brewery has won gold for two of its beers at national awards.

Kendal’s Bowness Bay Brewing was handed the accolades at the Indie Beer Awards 2025.

The Indie Beer awards is organised by the Society of Independent Brewers and Associates, which represents over 1,000 craft breweries, suppliers, and associate members.

Bowness’ Swan Blonde won Gold in the Regional Cask: Session Pale Ale category.

Raven Red took home Gold in the Regional Cask- Session Dark Beer.

It is now Bowness Bay Brewing’s most awarded beer. It won World’s Best Beer at the World Beer Awards in 2024 – winning gold in the style, country, and UK categories.

Bowness Bay Brewery said: “These awards are the culmination of the hard work of all our brewers and staff, who work tirelessly behind the scenes.”
