Peace & Loaf is won the Takeaway or Street Food Trader of the Year category.
The sourdough bakery turned pizzeria is housed in a small, open plan industrial unit, where everything is made from scratch, including the slow-fermented sourdough bases, the sauce and all the on-the-counter sweet treats, such as Red Bank tiramisu.
The award-winning family business, helmed by Lucas Hogg and Caroline Davis, is 10 years old and the couple haven’t been afraid to pivot to produce the best food for their Barrow customers.
A recent refit and recognition in a national top 50 pizzerias chart have provided a boost for the start of 2025.
