Paul Leonard, of Forest Side, won the Chef of the Year award.
The Michelin-starred head chef continues to fly high, this year being named Hotel Chef of the Year at the well-regarded Cateys, to add to the hotel’s awards.
In addition to his hyper-local cooking – with the majority of fruit and veg grown in the gardens – Paul is a director of the business in charge of kitchen hiring and staff welfare.
He leads his small team with a focus on nurturing chefs and sharing his knowledge and works with his alma mater Hull College to promote the role.
