Farlam Hall is a finalist in the Acclaimed Restaurant of the Year category.
The former Gilpin Hotel chef Hrishikesh Desai moved north to take the helm at Farlam, where he soon secured a Michelin star for The Cedar Tree restaurant. Hrishikesh’s Indian-influenced cooking highlights British produce, including plenty from the kitchen garden, all enhanced by what Michelin describes as “skilful spicing”.
A development has been HRISHI’s Table, an intimate private dining experience, hosted by Hrishikesh, where each plate is intended to be a narrative, drawn from his memories, travels and extensive culinary experience.
