Whyte’s Cafe Bar

Whyte’s Cafe Bar is a finalist in the Cafe of the Year category.

The busy café in the historic quarter of Carlisle has been run by Kevin and Claire McClintock since 2021.

Fresh food is cooked to order and they bake bread, cakes and scones every day. A loyal following of regular customers have become an extended family.

In the last year they have launched hand-made gelato, increased their bread range and won awards.

Plans include an online shop to be added to the website, in order to push the Whytes brand into a national market.
