Fish Express is a finalist in the Takeaway or Street Food Trader of the Year category. 

There is no shortage of competition in Kendal town centre but Fish Express more than manages to hold its own with visitors and – more tellingly – with locals, who return time and again.

There is lots of choice, the prices are reasonable and the portions are hearty – just right for a post-walk feast.

The quality of the food can be relied on, from tender fish, to beautiful batter and tasty chips. A recyclable and microwavable box is a bonus.

Most of all, the over-the-counter service is friendly. A place where customers want to return.
