The latest venture from chef-owner Ryan Blackburn, manager Craig Blackburn and their team is The Schelly, a small plates casual dining restaurant, named after a rare freshwater fish, which opened in August 2024.
Dedicated to delivering fine dining without the faff and featuring casual and delicious food, the relaxed menu features Ryan’s innovative interpretation of classic dishes from The Old Stamp House menu, alongside creations inspired by his travels.
Using the very best of what’s in season, exciting and inspired food includes Cartmel Valley Cumberland sausage and egg yolk sauce, Yew Tree Farm Herdwick hogget shoulder and Basque cheesecake with macerated raspberries.
