Peter King, The Yan at Broadrayne, is a finalist in the Service of the Year category.

From a wine bar mixologist, to head barman, to head sommelier and restaurant manager, Pete has been honing his hospitality skills for 14 years.

With his wife, Gee, he joined the family business at The Yan, where he has introduced a Coravin system for serving all wines by the glass, curated an innovative seasonal cocktail menu and brought refined service to the casual bistro setting.

Pete’s unwavering commitment to The Yan and exceptional front-of-house skills – such as remembering guests’ favourite drinks – has helped the venue achieve considerable success.
